Starting 2026 with a Smarter POS, Greater Control & More Flexibility.

January marks one of the most important upgrades to Tigg with the launch of our completely redesigned Tigg POS App, along with powerful enhancements across pricing, inventory control, banking integration, and reporting.

At Tigg, we continue to focus on improving the platform so businesses can operate faster, smarter, and with greater confidence.

Let’s explore what’s new.

28th January 2026: All-New Tigg POS App

The biggest highlight of this release is the new Tigg POS application, built to deliver a faster, smoother, and more intuitive billing experience.

Key improvements include:

  • Refreshed User Interface: A modern and clean design that improves usability and reduces staff training time.
  • Optimized Order-to-Payment Flow: Faster billing with fewer steps, helping businesses serve more customers efficiently.
  • Built for Every Screen Size: Fully optimized for devices ranging from mobile phones to large POS terminals.
  • Native Printing Support: Seamless printing across supported POS hardware without complicated setup.
  • Improved Print Format and Controls: Greater flexibility to manage receipts and invoices based on business needs.
  • Cash Drawer Integration: Automatic drawer triggering ensures smoother checkout and better cash management.

25th January 2026: Inclusive VAT Pricing Feature

Businesses now have greater flexibility in how they price their products.

Users can set product pricing as either VAT inclusive or VAT exclusive based on operational requirements. This feature enables organizations to implement pricing more efficiently by eliminating the need to recalculate pre-VAT amounts for each case. It simplifies internal workflows and improves the accuracy and speed of product setup.

20th January 2026: Map Items to Location

Inventory visibility is now more structured and controlled.

When an item is mapped to a specific location, it will appear only in that location. This helps achieve:

  • Better stock control
  • Reduced billing mistakes
  • Cleaner item lists for staff

This feature is especially valuable for businesses operating multiple billing locations.

Minor Improvements and Enhancements

Alongside the major release, several important improvements have been introduced:

  • Integration with Global Bank via Rapid API
Enables smoother bank statement retrieval and supports faster reconciliation.
  • Enhanced Product Profitability Report
A new Additional Cost column provides more accurate profitability analysis, particularly useful for import and manufacturing businesses.
  • Retail print Template Improvements
Order, Invoice, and Credit Note templates now:
    • Display item-level discounts within the total section together with transaction discounts.
    • Show item rates before discounts, improving pricing clarity.
  • Improved Barcode Printing
    • Barcode stickers can now be generated across multiple pages for better printing alignment.
    • Fixed an issue affecting 14-character barcodes on small stickers.

This release represents another strong step toward making Tigg more powerful, reliable, and easier to use for growing businesses. We remain committed to continuous improvement, with more innovations already planned for the months ahead.
